A photo is worth a thousand grams

When there’s no barcode or you cooked the dish yourself, the camera acts as your keyboard: the AI reads labels and helps you identify the foods on your plate, and you decide what gets saved.

This part of NutriGes is in the works. Here's what it will be like.

Photos of dishes and labels

One photo and done. You decide, the AI helps

Sometimes there's no barcode, or you cooked the dish yourself. That's what photos are for: your phone's camera acts as the keyboard.

  • Photo of the label

Is a product missing from the database? Photograph its nutrition table. The AI reads the values, you review and confirm them, and the product becomes available to all other users.

  • Photo of the dish

Take the photo, tell us what's in it and roughly how much it weighs (usually you know), and the AI helps you identify the foods and split the amounts.

  • The AI suggests, you decide

Nothing is saved without your approval, and each food's nutrients always come from the verified database, not from a guess.

Home cooking, logged effortlessly

Save your recipes with their ingredients and servings once, and next time logging that stew or that salad is a single tap. If you cook for several people, you divide the total into servings and log only yours.

  • Recipes with ingredients and servings
  • Split the pot between everyone at the table
  • Repeat your usual dishes in one tap
